Aureus is a financial health platform that grades public companies on free cash flow fundamentals. Every company in our coverage receives a single letter grade, A through F, based on how effectively it converts revenue into real, spendable cash.
Most financial platforms focus on earnings, revenue growth, or analyst price targets. We focus on cash. Earnings can be adjusted. Revenue can grow while a company burns money. Free cash flow tells you what actually happened, not what management wants you to think happened.
Our grading algorithm starts with a company's free cash flow margin and compares it against sector-specific thresholds. A 15% FCF margin means something very different in technology (where 24% is the median) versus consumer discretionary (where 10% is typical). Sector context matters.
From that base grade, we apply modifiers for balance sheet health, quarterly trend direction, cash flow consistency, and cash conversion efficiency. The result is a single grade that accounts for both current performance and trajectory.
We currently grade over 200 public companies across 17 sectors. Our research includes sector health reports, individual stock analysis, trend roundups, and educational content. All analysis is grounded in the actual financial data from public filings.
Aureus is built for retail investors and finance enthusiasts who want substance over hype. If you're tired of surface-level analysis and want to understand the cash flow fundamentals behind every company you own or are considering, this platform is for you.
Data is sourced from public financial statements. Aureus does not provide investment advice. Grades reflect free cash flow health relative to sector peers and should be used as one input in your own research process.
